God's Will be done I Edward Snell of Tiverton in the County of Devon Yeoman being of Competent Mind Memory and understanding do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) I give to my Children John Snell Elizabeth the Wife of Philip Kelland Mary the Wife of George Webber Jane the Wife of Robert Jarman and William Snell the Sum of One Shilling each they and each of them respectively having in my life time received their Portions or ffortunes I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann Snell the Sum of two hundred Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executrix and Executor hereinafter named after the Expiration of Six Months after my decease All the residue and remainder of my Goods and Chattels ffarming Stock Cattle and Utensils and Implements of Husbandry Money and Securities for Money and all my Personal and Testamentary Estate of what nature or kind Soever and wheresoever I give and bequeath to my dear Wife Mary and to my Son Edward Snell equally between them and to their Executors Admors and Assigns and I will and direct that my Executrix & Executor do pay and discharge my just Debts and ffuneral expences and I name Constitute and appoint my said Wife Mary and my son Edward Executrix & Executor of this my Will revoking all former Wills by me made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Edward Snell the Testator have set my hand and Seal (and also to a Duplicate thereof) the Twenty seventh day of June i the Year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred & Eighteen The Mark X of Edward Snell
