Will of Michael Roberts of Tiverton

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Michael Roberts of Tiverton in the County of Devon as follows (that is to say) I give and bequeath unto my Brother William Roberts the sum of twenty pounds of lawful British money yearly and every year during his life to be paid in equal portions half yearly by my Executor hereinafter named I give and bequeath unto William Roberts (son of my said Brother William Roberts )the sum of five pounds of like lawful money to be paid at my decease I give and bequeath I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth London (Daughter of my said Brother William Roberts )the sum of twenty pounds of like lawful money to be paid six months next after the decease of my Brother William I give and bequeath unto Hugh Roberts (son of my said Brother William)the sum of fifty pounds of like lawful money to be paid six months next after the decease of my Brother William Roberts I give and bequeath unto Ann Roberts (another Daughter of my said brother William) the sum of fifty pounds of like lawful money to be paid six months next after the decease of my Brother William Roberts I also give and bequeath unto Michael Roberts (another son of my Brother William) the sum of two hundred pounds of like lawful money as aforesaid to be paid as follows one hundred pounds part thereof six months next after my decease if he shall then have attained the age of twenty one years to be paid as follows one hundred pounds part thereof six months next after my decease if he shall then have attained the age of twenty one years but if not then when he shall arrive at such age and the remaining one hundred pounds six months next after the death of my Brother William Roberts I give and bequeath unto Sarah Roberts (another Daughter of my said brother William) the sum the sum of fifty pounds of like lawful money as aforesaid to be paid six months next after the decease of my Brother William Roberts if she shall then be of the age of twenty one years but if not when she shall attain that age I also give and bequeath unto Robert Roberts (another son of my Brother William) the sum of fifty pounds of like lawful money as aforesaid to be paid six months next after the decease of my Brother William Roberts if he shall then be of the age of twenty one years but if not when he shall attain that age I give and bequeath unto Ann Beer for her attention to me in sickness the sum of five pounds and a Suit of Mourning All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattels monies and securities for money Personal estate and Effects of what kind or nature soever I give and bequeath unto my Brother Hugh Roberts his exors admors and assigns paying my just debts legacies and funeral expences And lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my said Brother Hugh Robert sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all and every other Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand and set my seal this thirty first day of October one thousand eight hundred and twenty four
