In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth Rodd of Topsham in the County of Devon Spinster being sick of body but of sound mind and memory Doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner following ffirst I doe give to my Sister Spurr tenn pounds Item I give to my Sister Green tenn pounds Item I give to my Nephew James Rodd Esqr the Summe of fifty pounds Item I give to my Nephews William Rodd and ... Coplestone Rodd and my Neeces Gartrude Rodd and Mary Rodd and every of them tenn pounds apeice Alsoe I give to the Gartrude Rodd my best watch and all the things thereunto belonging and my Cabinett and one of my best Suites of Apparrell to be chosen by her And to the said Mary Rodd my Silver Bason Silver Tankard and Silver Sugar Dish my Chest of Drawers and Table and one of my best Suites of apparrell to be chosen by her Item I give to my Neece Bellet tenn pounds Item I give to my Nephew Andrew Jeffery and my Neece Elianor Jeffery tenn pounds apeice Item I give to my Maid Servant Grace Hipesley the summe of two hundred pounds to be paid her within one moneth after my Decease Alsoe I give her all my Cloathes Saveing the two Suites aforesaid Item all the rest of my Goods Chattells and Testamentary Estate whatsoever my Legacyes and ffunerall charges being first paid I doe give devise and bequeath unto my Neece Margaret Jeffery and I doe make her the said Margaret Jeffery whole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witnesse whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seale the tenth day of September Anno Dm 1703 Elizabeth Rodd Signed Sealed published and declared by the within named Elizabeth Rodd in the presence of us Giles Inglett Charles Cart(?)
