Devon & Cornwall Notes & Queries 11, 1920-21, p. 283.
H. Wilson Holman
Prepared by Michael Steer
Vivian's Visitations say nothing of the distinguished Topsham family of Follett. The Note is an attempt by the author to add substantial information to the published pedigree of Sir William Webb Follett. A skeleton pedigree has been constructed from the notebook of a Mrs Pennell. The author asks whether any journal reader is able to connect the Topsham family with the baronial family of Foliot or Lord Folliot of Ballyshannon? Holman's Note is supplemented by AJP Skinner with additional pedigree information. Google with the Archive Organization has sponsored the digitisation of books from several libraries. The Internet Archive makes available, in its Community Texts Collection (originally known as Open Source Books), books that have been digitised by Google from a number of libraries. These are books on which copyright has expired, and are available free for educational and research use. The copy of this rare book is held in the collection of Albert William Bryant Messenger, and is available from the Internet Archive.
