Ancient documents relating to the civil history of Totnes

Trans. Devon. Assoc. vol. 12 (1880) pp. 192-203.

Robert Dymond

Prepared by Michael Steer

This paper, presented at the Association's July 1880, Totnes meeting presents with annotations. the second article in the Common-Place Book of John Hoker. That voluminous text focusses mainly on Exeter matters, but its second article relates to Totnes. At that time (1880), the original was held in the Record Room of the Guild Hall at Exeter and had not yet been printed. Google with the Archive Organization has sponsored the digitisation of books from several libraries. The Internet Archive makes available, in its Community Texts Collection (originally known as Open Source Books), books that have been digitised by Google from a number of libraries. These are books on which copyright has expired, and are available free for educational and research use. This rare book was produced from a copy held by the Princeton University Library, and is available from the Internet Archive.
