In the Name of God Amen The Thirtieth Day of October One thousand seven hundred and five I Andrew Apelin of Alffculme in the County of Devon Shearmaker Hereby revoking my former Wills and Testaments Do make this to be my last Will and Testament And under hopes of salvation by the merits of Jesus Christ do commit my soul to God and my body to Christian buryall And my worldly Substance I do give and devise as followeth Imprimis I give and devise unto my Daughter Mary my two Dwelling Housen wherein I live the Stable the Priviledg of the Courtledge and Garden during her naturall life paying twenty shillings a year to my son John Aplin or if my son John do live in the House to pay twenty shillings a year to my Daughter my Daughter Mary to repaire the House during her natural life The same to have and enjoy imediately after the decease of me and my Wife the Survivor of my son John Aplin and my daughter Mary Oland to enjoy both Housen Item I do also give and devise unto my Daughter Alice Bedgood ten pounds one ffive pounds to be paid at the end of six months next after my decease Item I do also give and devise unto my Grandchild Alice Bedgood's Green's House after the estate granted to Humphrey Green and to her Heirs for ever Item I do give and bequeath unto my son John Aplin all my debts due unto me upon Book and due to me for work and all my working Tooles and Implements belonging to my Trade the same to have imediately after my decease Item I do give and devise unto my daughter Alice Bedgood the House wherein James Middleton do live during her natural life the same to have and enjoy imediately after the decease of me and my Wife Item I do give and devise unto my Daughter Winnifred the House wherein Richard Saunders do now live during her natural life and after the decease of my two Daughters Allice and Winnifred the House wherein James Middleton do live and the House wherein Richard Saunders do live I give and devise unto the Eldest Child of my Daughter Winnifred that is then living and to his or her Heirs for ever Item I do give and devise unto my Daughter Winnifred the Rents and profits of Conigar during her naturall life the Estate granted to my Son in law John Oland alwayes excepted Item I do give and devise unto my Grandchild Mary Oland and to her Heirs for ever Coniger after the decease of my two Daughters Allice and Winnifred and the estate formerly made to my Son in law John Oland Item I do give and devise unto my Daughter Winnifred ten pounds one ffive pounds to be paid at the end of six months next after my decease the other ffive pounds at the end of twelve months next after my decease Item I do give and devise unto my Grandchild Mary Oland my two Housen wherein I dwell the same to have and enjoy with priviledge of the Courtledge and Garden imediately after the decease of me and my Wife And after the decease of my Son John and my Daughter Mary the same to remaine to my said Grandchild Mary Oland and to her Heirs for ever Item I do give and devise to my Son in Law Thomas Churley all my Wearing Apparell both Woollen and Linnen the same to be delivered unto him within the space of one moneth next after my decease Item I do give and devise to my Son in Law Thomas Churley one paire of Serge Loomes which are now in the Custody of John Hutching in Uffculme the same to have imediately after the decease of me and my Wife Item all the rest of my Goods movable and Unmovable not heretofore given and devised I do give and devise unto my wife Bridgett whom I do make and ordain my full and whole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto putt my hand and seal the day and year first above written Andrew Aplin Signed sealed and declared to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of Sarah Gamsey Richard Langham John Cox
