In the name of God amen I Henry Osmonde of Uffcullum in the county of Devon husbands being sick of bodye but perfecte memorye thanks to thalmighty god Doe make and ordayne this my last Will and testament in manner and forme following ffirst I bequeave my Sowle to Almighty god my Savyer and Redemer And my bodye to be buryed in the churche yarde Item I give and bequeave to the parrishe churche of Uffcullum towards the maintenance of the same twelve pence And to the releife of the poore of the same parrishe twoe shillings to be paide by my Executor Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne Henry Osmonde the some of eighte pounds of Lawfull englishe money Item I give and bequeave unto my Daughter Tomasyne the some of tenne pounds of lyke Lawfull englishe money and my cubborde standing in the Hall The Rest of all my goods not given nor bequeathed my Debts ffunerall and Legaceis Discharged I give and bequeave unto my wife Joan Osmonde whome I make my wholle and sole executrix And I requeast my brother George Osmonde and my sonne Robert Combe to be my overseers of this my Last will and testament And for theire paynes I give unto every of them the some of twelve pence In wittnesse hereof I have sett my hande and seale the viiith of Aprill and in the three and thirty yeare of her majestyes Reigne that nowe is 1591
