VENN-OTTERY, a parish in the eastern division of the hundred of BUDLEIGH, county of DEVON, 3¼ miles (S. W. by S.) from Ottery St. Mary, containing 120 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, annexed to that of Harpford, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Exeter. The church is dedicated to St. Gregory. The parish is bounded on the east by the river Otter.
