WERRINGTON, a parish in the hundred of BLACK TORRINGTON, county of DEVON, 2½ miles (N. by W.) from Launceston, containing 635 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese of Exeter, and in the patronage of the Earl of Buckinghamshire. The church is dedicated to St. Martin and St. Giles.
