This is the Last Will and Testament Joan Gill, of Woolfardisworthy, Devon Widow
In the name of God Amen, I Joan Gill of the Parish of Woolfardisworthy being sound of mind and memory do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner following.
First I give and bequeath to my son John Gill a soul of mourning.
I also give to James and Eliza Gil, son and daughter of the above John Gill the sum of Ten Pounds each 3 months after my death and if one should die the survivor to have the money.
I also give to my son William Gill the sum of Fifty pounds.
I also give to all the children of the above William Gill the sum of Ten Pounds each 3 months after my death and if one should die the survivor to have the money.
I also give to my son James Gill the sum of Fifty pounds.
I also give to my son George Gill the sum of Fifty pounds.
I also give to all the children of the above George Gill the sum of Ten Pounds each 3 months after my death and if one should die the survivor to have the money.
I also give to my son William Gill all the demands that I have against sum of book or other debts whatsoever home to the date hereof.
Lastly I do appoint my son Anthony Gill whole and sole Executor of all my Goods and Chattels and Effects whatsoever.
This my Last will and testament in writings here I have set my hand January 25th 1827 in the presence of Jone Gill, James Clapp and Frances Clapp
Will proved in the Principal Registry of the Bishop of Exeter, 22nd day of June 1830
