WOOLFARDISWORTHY, a parish in the hundred of HARTLAND, county of DEVON, 9½ miles (S. W. by W.) from Bideford, containing 755 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Barnstaple, and diocese of Exeter, endowed with £400 royal bounty, and £1400 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of the Rev. W. Loggin. The church has an enriched Norman doorway and font.
