In the Name of God Amen The three and twentyth Day of December in the yeare of our Lord God according to the computation of the church of England, one thousand six hundred and fifty three I Thomas Yeo the elder of the parish of Wouldfardisworthy in the County of Devon yeoman, being of sound mind and of good and pfect remembrance (thankes be given unto God) Doe make and ordaine this containing therein my last Testament, and Will in manner and form following (that is to Say) ffirst I recommend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Maker and Redeemer, and my body to Christian buryall Item I Doe give towards the reparation of the parish church at Wouldfardisworthy aforesaid three shillings foure pence Alsoe I Doe give to my Sonne Thomas Yeo ten shillings Alsoe I do give to my daughter Margaret the wife of William Hamlyn ten shillings. Alsoe I Doe give and bequeath to my Sonne Philip Yeo thirteen pounds six shillings eight pence to be paid unto him within two yeares next after my decease, and to the children of the said Philip Yeo ten shillings a peice, when they shall accomplish the age of twenty one yeares Alsoe I Doe give to my Godson William Hamlyn five pounds when he shall accomplish and be the age of one and twenty yeares Alsoe I Doe give to the children of the foresd William Hamlyn three shillings and foure pence a peice Alsoe I Doe give to Johan Lucas five shillings Alsoe I Doe give to my Servant Robert Webbe five shillings Alsoe I Doe give to my Sonne John Yeo's children three shillings and foure pence a piece The Residue of my goods & chattles not before given nor bequeathed (after my funerall expences discharged and these my legacies contained in this my last Testament and Will paid and pformed) I Doe wholely give unto Mary Yeo my wife whom I Doe make and ordaine my sole Executrix of this last Will and Testament, and I Doe hereby revoke and disannul all other or former Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made In witnesse whereof I the said Thomas Yeo have hereunto Sett my hand and Seale and have caused this to be published in the psence of those whose names are here underwritten The Signe of Thomas Yeo there being witnesses Philip Praunce(?)
