St Thomas a Becket, Grindon, Church of England

The church has/had a graveyard.

It was founded in 12th Cent. It closed in 1848.

This church which is now maintained as a monument, was allowed to fall into disuse following the building of Holy Trinity at Thorpe Thewles (within the same parish). See Victoria County History.
