“BUTTSBURY, a parish in the hundred of CHELMSFORD, county of ESSEX, 7 miles (S. W. by S.) from Chelmsford, containing 522 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, with the rectory of Ingatestone annexed, in the archdeaconry of Essex, and diocese of London, endowed with £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Rev. D.
