"TEY (LITTLE), a parish in the Witham division of the hundred of LEXDEN, county of ESSEX, 2¾ miles (E. by N.) from Great Coggeshall, containing 49 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Colchester, and diocese of London, rated in the king's books at £4, and in the patronage of the Bishop of London.
