"MUNDON, a parish in the hundred of DENGIE,
county of ESSEX, 3¾ miles (S. E. by S.) from Maldon,
containing 309 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage,
in the archdeaconry of Essex, and diocese of London,
rated in the king's books at £13, and in the patronage
of the King, as Duke of Lancaster. The church is
dedicated to St. Mary. The parish is bounded on the
