"NEVENDON, a parish in the hundred of BARSTABLE, county of ESSEX, 5¾ miles (S. E. by E.) from Billericay, containing 186 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Essex, and diocese of London, rated in the king's books at £10.13.4. The Rev. V. Edwards was patron in 1814.
