"STOCK, a parish in the hundred of CHELMSFORD, county of ESSEX, 3 miles (N. N. E.) from Billericay, containing 610 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, with that of Ramsdon-Bellhouse annexed, in the archdeaconry of Essex, and diocese of London, rated in the king's books at £10, and in the patronage of John Unwin, Esq.
