"STONDON-MASSEY, a parish in the hundred of ONGAR, county of ESSEX, 2 miles (E. S. E.) from Cop ping-Ongar, containing 230 inhabitants. The living' a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Essex, and diocese of London, rated in the king's books at £13. 6. 8., and in the patronage of the Rev. J. Oldham.
