"THOYDON-BOIS, a parish in the hundred of ONGAR, county of ESSEX, 3½ miles (S.) from Epping, containing 446 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Essex, and diocese of London, endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of R. W. H. Dare, Esq.
