"CABUS, (or Cabas), a township in the parish of Garstang, hundred of Amounderness, in the county palatine of Lancaster, 2 miles to the N. of Garstang, which is a station on the Manchester and Carlisle section of the London and North-Western railway. The railway and the Lancaster canal pass by this place.
