The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

"BRADLEY, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of Upper Bermondspit, in the county of Southampton, 6 miles to the N.W. of Alton. Mitcheldever is its post town, and a station on the London and South-Western railway. The living is a rectory'* in the diocese of Winchester, of the value of £250, in the patronage of C. E. Rumbold, Esq. The church is dedicated to All Saints. There are charitable endowments which amount to about £20 a year."
