The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

"FOXCOTT, a parish in the lower half of the hundred of Andover, county Hants, 2 miles N.W. of Andover, its post town and railway station on the South-Western line. The hamlet of Hatherden is included in this parish The living is a curacy annexed to the vicarage of Andover, in the diocese of Winchester. "HATHERDEN, a hamlet in the parish of Foxcott, county Hants, 3 miles N.W. of Andover, within which borough it is included."
