The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

"WINNALL, a parish in the hundred of Fawley, county Hants, three quarters of a mile N.E. of Winchester. It is situated on the eastern bank of the river Itchin, and is partly comprised within the borough of Winchester. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Winchester, value £180, in the patronage of the bishop."
