"BRAMPTON-ABBOTS, a parish in the hundred of GREYTREE, county of HEREFORD, 1 mile (N.) from Ross, containing 158 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £12, and in the patronage of the Bishop of Hereford. The church is dedicated to St. Michael.
