"CASTLE FROME, a parish in the hundred of Radlow, in the county of Hereford, 7 miles to the N. of Ledbury. Bromyard is its post town. It lies near the Frome hills and the river Frome. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Hereford, value £300, in the patronage of F. T. Freeman, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Michael."
