"DEWSALL, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of WORMELOW, county of HEREFORD, 5 miles (S.W. by S.) from Hereford, containing 33 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the peculiar jurisdiction of the Dean of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £4, endowed with £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Governors of Guy's Hospital, London.
