"EVESBATCH, a parish in the hundred of Radlow, county Hereford, 5 miles S.E. of Bromyard, its post town. The village consists of a few farmhouses. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Hereford, value £150. The church is a plain structure, dedicated to St. Andrew. The parochial charities produce nearly £10 per annum."
