"KINGS-CAPLE, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of WORMELOW, county of HEREFORD, 5¼ miles (N. W. by N.) from Ross, containing 271 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy with the vicarage of Sellack, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford. The church is dedicated to St. John the Baptist."
