"LITTLE BIRCH, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of Wormelow, in the county of Hereford, 6 miles to the S. of Hereford. Ross is its post town. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford, of the value of £170, in the patronage of the Rev. S. Thackwell, incumbent. The church is dedicated to St. Mary."
