"STOKE-BLISS, a parish partly in the upper division of the hundred of DODDINGTREE, county of WORCESTER, but chiefly in the hundred of BROXASH, county of HEREFORD, 6 miles (N.) from Bromyard, containing, with the chapelry of Little Kyre, 303 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £6. 16. 8., and in the patronage of the Crown."
