"TRETIRE, a parish in the lower division of the hundred of WORMELOW, county of HEREFORD, 5 miles (W.) from Ross, containing, with the chapelry of Michael-Church, 126 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £6. 1. 8., and in the patronage of the Governors of Guy's Hospital, London.
