"TURNASTONE, a parish in the hundred of WEBTREE, county of HEREFORD, 2 miles (E.S.E.) from Hay, containing 60 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, rated in the King's books at £2. 14. 2., endowed with £600 royal bounty, and in the patronage of Mrs. Eliza Boughton.
