"WACTON, a parish in the hundred of BROXASH, county of HEREFORD, 4 miles (N. W. by W.) from Bromyard, containing 113 inhabitants. The living is u perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, endowed with £600 royal bounty, and £200 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of the Fortionists of Bromyard."
