"WILLERSLEY, a parish in the hundred of HUNTINGTON, county of HEREFORD, 7 miles (E. N. E.) from Hay, containing 11 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £3. 6. 8., endowed with £600 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Representatives of the late John Freeman, Esq. , The church is dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene.
