"WOLFERLOW, a parish and township in the hundred of Broxash, county Hereford, 5 miles N.E. of Bromyard, its post town, and 16 N.E. of Hereford. The village is situated at the head of the river Frome, which takes its rise in this parish. The soil is clayey, but fertile. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Hereford, value £117. The church is dedicated to St. Andrew. The charities produce about £4 per annum."
