"GREAT PAXTON, (Huntingdonshire) on the E. side of the Ouse, to the N.E. of St. Neot's. K. Edw. III. granted two thirds of it to Robert Manners, ancestor of the D. of Rutland, for his services against the Scots, Dr. Anderson has a seat here."
