"ORGARSWICK, a parish in the liberty of Romney Marsh, lathe of Shepway, county Kent, 2½ miles N.W. of Dymchurch, and 4 N.E. of New Romney, its post town. It is situated in Romney Marsh, and consists of a few farmhouses. The living is a sinecure rectory in the diocese of Canterbury, value £39, in the patronage of the dean and chapter. There is no church, the few inhabitants frequenting that of Dymchurch."
