Moor Lane, Preston, United Methodist Free Church

The church did not have a graveyard.

It was founded in 1873. The last service was on 27^th June 1954 and it is now closed, Many worshippers subsequently attended Moor Park Methodist Church, which in turn closed in 1984.

In 1907 the United Methodist Free Church merged with the Methodist New Connexion and the Bible Christians to form the United Methodist Church.

In 1932 the United Methodists joined with the Wesleyan Methodists and the Primitive Methodists to form the Methodist Church of Great Britain.

This table cloth containing the names of 89 church members was embroidered before the second world war.
