The meeting house has a graveyard. The few monuments in the graveyard were transcribed in 1993; a copy is held at the Barrow Record Office.
It was founded in 1677; no set meeting house previously in the area. Meetings discontinued c1890, but briefly revived just before the final closure in 1910. Premises sold 1922. The small arched window above the entrance door was reputedly a watch window. The meeting house still has a graveyard nearby.
Whilst every effort has been made to record exact details of record office and library holdings you are recommended to check with them before visiting to ensure that they do hold the records and years you wish to examine. Similarly check with transcript publishers to ensure they cover the records and years you require before making a purchase.
