Ashby by Partney is a village and parish 128 miles north of London, just 2 miles east of Spilsby and 1.5 miles north-east of Halton Holgate. The River Lymn (Steeping River) runs through the parish. The Lady Wath Beck drains to the south-east of the village.

• By automobile to Ashby by Partney village, although there are country roads out of Spilsby, the most expeditious route may be via the A158 which swings north out of Spilsby and curls east. Just after the junction with the A16 trunk road, turn south for Ashby.
