Church of England Records.

  • Ancroft, St Anne: Records of baptisms 1742-1959, marriages 1742-1982 and burials 1742-1959 are available at Northumberland Archives Service. Bishops' Transcripts for the period 1764-1867 are deposited at Durham University Library Archives and Special Collections, Palace Green, Durham City. The International Genealogical Index (I.G.I.) includes baptisms 1742-1875 and marriages 1742-1876 for this parish, and Boyd's Marriage Index includes marriages 1742-1812 and banns 1751-1812. Transcripts of baptisms, burials and marriages 1742-1812 for Ancroft are available at Newcastle Central Library, Local Studies Dept.
     
  • Scremerston, St Peter: Records of baptisms 1843-1959, marriages 1845-1959 and burials 1843-1960 are available at Northumberland Archives Service.
     

Nonconformist Records.

  • Berrington (Roman Catholic): Records of baptisms 1793-1816, marriages 1808-1817 and deaths 1758-1804 can be consulted at Northumberland Archives Service. Baptisms 1793-1816, marriages 1809, 1815 and 1817, and deaths 1758, 1764, 1769, 1789 and 1804 are available at Berwick upon Tweed.
     
  • Haggerston (Roman Catholic): - Baptisms 1786-1840, marriages 1791-1826 and deaths 1790-1809 can be consulted at Northumberland Archives Service and at Berwick upon Tweed. The I.G.I. includes baptisms 1786-1840.
