  • Bywell, St Peter: Records of baptisms 1663-1952, marriages 1663-1975 and burials 1663-1925 are available at Northumberland Archives Service. Bishops' Transcripts for the period 1762-1874 are deposited at Durham University Library Archives and Special Collections, Palace Green, Durham City. The International Genealogical Index (I.G.I.) includes baptisms 1663-1812 and marriages 1663-1812 for this parish, and Boyd's Marriage Index includes marriages 1663-1812 and banns 1751-1812. Transcripts of baptisms, burials and marriages (1663-181?) are available at Newcastle Central Library, Local Studies Dept. A transcript of monumental inscriptions at Bywell St Peter (microfiche TN73) is published by Northumberland and Durham Family History Society and these records are also available in book form at Newcastle Central Library, Local Studies Department.

Baptisms 1766-1794, marriages 1772-1836 and deaths 1765-1839 can also be seen at Newcastle Central Library, Local Studies Dept. The International Genealogical Index (I.G.I.) includes births/baptisms 1795-1840.
