BAWDESWELL is a village 14 miles N.W. of Norwich, and 4 miles W. by S. of Reepham. The parish comprises an area of 1163 acres, and the population in 1841 was 582. Post Office at Aquila Cannell's. Letters delivered at 8 a.m. and despatched to Norwich and all parts, via East Dereham, at 3,30 p.m.
