Notes
- 1. This entry is very poor. Could be Octavis (Batavis) and could be Hunbery.
- 2. At the bottom of Page 10 in the margin were the words -
"Detached from Swainsthorpe parish humbleyard Hundred No of Dist 5." - All shorthand contractions in the document have been reproduced as written.
- See also the 1801, 1811 and 1821 census for Dunston.
- In the "Profession Column" most of the relation words ie. "Wife", "Son", "Daughter", etc were crossed through. They have been left as originally written.
- The following list of names indicates in brackets how they were spelt in other census.
