"NORTH REPPS, is a village and parish, in North Erpingham Hundred, Erpingham union, North Walsham county court district, rural deanery of Repps, archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norfolk, East Norfolk, 7 miles north from North Walsham, 3 south-east from Cromer, and 9 from Aylsham. The church of St. Mary is a handsome building, with square tower containing 5 bells, north and south aisles; the interior has undergone thorough repair. The register dates from 1558. The living is a rectory, annual value £581 10s., with residence, and 10 acres of glebe land, in the gift of the Duchy of Lancaster; the incumbent is the Rev.
