"Freeh." = "Freehold" or "Fh." = Freeholder (followed by place in Norwich where held)
"W. w." or "Wor.-wea." (and similar) = "Worstead weaver" - 2. The following alternative spellings for trades should be noted:- Gardiner/Gardener, Joyner/Joiner, Taylor/Tailor, Wool-comber/Woolcomber.
- 3. In other polls the following alternative spellings have been seen which appear to refer to the same people:- Akers/Acres, Bruning/Brunning
