On crown, the shield engraved at p 81.
Three bells 6th Edward VI., 3, 4, and 5 cwts.
Roger Davy, Goldsmith, of London, gave by will in 1473 £10 to cover the steeple. Blomefield, vii., 179.
The church being out of repair, a faculty was granted in 1809 for the sale of two bells worth £47.


Pages 80-87 of the author's notes on bells and bell-founders are about bells cast by unknown founders. The list includes Shereford. The plates show the individual letters from which the inscriptions were composed. The shield on page 81 contains three crowns with a downward-pointing arrow topped with a crescent moon.
