Notes

  • 1. In the transcription of the Poll Book the modern spelling of place names has been added in brackets "()" to many of the entries so that a search will find them.
  • 2. The following places are used in this poll and are followed by their modern day equivalents:- Stourbridge - see Cambridge - St Andrew the Less, Westly/Westley Waterless, Whittlesea/Whittlesey, Wisbeach/Wisbech
  • 3. The following are possibles for some of the other places of residence :-
    • Elbington may be Great Abington, Little Abington, Abington Pigotts or somewhere else?
    • St. Ben. Col./St. Benedict College?

"Cambridgeshire, Isle of Ely, &c. voters" are followed in the Poll book by London, Westminster, &c. voters.
