It was founded in 1843 (White's directory says rebuilt 1844 so may have been founded much earlier). It closed before 1868 (in directory of 1865). Note that there was a Baptist Chapel just over the parish boundary with Fulmodeston cum Croxton which opened about 1868 (could even be one and the same or where the congregation went?).
The General Baptists and Particular Baptists amalgamated in 1891.
